MQA/07/21-22: Appointment of a Service Provider/s to Source, Provide and Distribute Listed Items for the Mining Qualifications Authority at Various Specified Locations in South Africa in Support of Implementation of the Practical Training Component in the Unemployed Youth Development Project

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) requires the services of a suitable and qualified
service provider to procure, provide and deliver varied items as per the attached specification
list for practical component in the youth development project of the MQA.
The ultimate objective is to deliver quality listed products that have an SABS endorsement to the beneficiaries on the Youth Development Project so as to enable beneficiaries to:
  • Gain more practical exposure to their chosen field of interest and training;
  • Use these utensils/apparatus to improve on their farming and or relevant practice to
    improve their livelihoods; and
  • Receive what they have requested for as a start-up kit for the implementation of the Youth Development Project.

Evaluation criteria
Phase 1: Mandatory Requirements
Phase 2: Functionality (Technical): minimum threshold is 60 out of 100 points
Phase 3: Price=80 points and B-BBEE=20 points

Closing date
The proposals must be submitted electronically at tenders@mqa.org.za by no later than 11H00 on Monday, 21 February 2022. Late submissions will not be considered.
