Invitation the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Mining Qualifications Authority

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) will be hosting its Annual General Meeting event during the month of October 2025.

The event will offer the organisation an opportunity to formally table the 2024-2025 annual report on the organisation’s performance noting the significant achievement of a clean audit report outcome; and to examine pertinent skills development issues for impactful skills provision in the mining and minerals sector.

Furthermore, the event discussions will also focus on the MQA’s current achievements; the MQA skills development projects; the various challenges facing the mining and minerals sector and the MQA, with a view towards increased engagements; as well as health and safety issues.

The MQA is inviting all its stakeholders to participate in this important event to discuss strategies for improved skills development within the sector.

The event will be hosted under the theme “Mining Future Skills”.

The details of the conference are as follows:

  • Time: 09H00 – 14H00
  • Venue: Emperors Palace, 64 Jones Road, Kempton Park

This event will be hosted in-person. Admission is free to all mining and minerals sector stakeholders and is subject to delegates confirming. Due to limited seats, please secure yours early.
