Call for Applications for MQA Discretionary Grants for 2023 – 2024: Learning Materials Development (Second Window)

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) for the mining and minerals sector in terms of the Skills Development Act of 1998.

A second application window for Discretionary Grants allocations for Learning Material Development, for the period 01 April 2023 to 31 March 2024, will open on 18 June 2023 at 08H00. MQA Accredited Training Providers in the sector are invited to submit their applications.

Closing date: Completed application forms must be submitted via e-mail ONLY to grants@mqa.org.za before 00:00 on 18 July 2023. Hand-delivered application forms and those sent to other e-mail addresses will not be accepted. 

Please note:  

  • Terms and conditions will apply in accordance with the MQA Funding Policy.
  • Application forms will only be available on the MQA website.
  • Incomplete application forms will not be considered.
  • Hand delivered application forms including those sent to other email addresses will not be accepted.
