Call for Applications for MQA Discretionary Grants (2024 – 2025): Fourth Window

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) for the mining and minerals sector in terms of the Skills Development Act of 1998.

The MQA invites employers and stakeholders in the mining and minerals sector to apply for Discretionary Grants for 4IR Qualifications Learnerships and In-house Training.

The application window is open from 22 September 2024, 08H00, until 00H00 on 13 October 2024.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM

Completed application forms must be submitted via e-mail ONLY to grants@mqa.org.za.

Hand-delivered application forms including those sent to other e-mail addresses will not be accepted. 

PLEASE NOTE:  

  • Terms and conditions will apply in accordance with the MQA Funding Policy and Allocation Criteria.
  • Application form and criteria will only be available on the MQA website.
  • MQA may call for application for projects, but it is at MQA discretion to allocate the grants on these
  • The application form must be completed in full. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the application form submitted is correct and completed in full.
