Call for Applications for MQA Discretionary Grants (2021 – 2022): SIXTH Window

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) for the mining and minerals sector in terms of the Skills Development Act of 1998.

The sixth application window for Discretionary Grants allocations, for the period 01 April 2021 to 31 March 2022, will open on Monday, 07 February 2022 at 08H00. Employers and other stakeholders in the sector are invited to submit their applications for the following projects:

  1. Candidacy Programme
  2. Workplace Mentors and Coaches Programme

Application forms and grants rules

Completed application forms must be submitted via e-mail to grants@mqa.org.za. Hand delivered application forms including those sent to other email addresses will not be accepted. 

Closing date

Completed application forms must be submitted before 00:00 on Monday, 28 February 2022. 

Please note:

·       Terms and conditions will apply in accordance with the MQA Funding Policy.  

·       Application forms will only be available on the MQA website.
