Call for Applications for MQA Discretionary Grants (2021 – 2022) Second Window: Learning Material Development

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) for the mining and minerals sector in terms of the Skills Development Act of 1998.

The second window for Discretionary Grants allocations for Learning Material Development, for the period 01 April 2021 to 31 March 2022, will open on Monday 07 June 2021 at 08H00.

MQA accredited training providers in the sector are invited to submit their applications.

NOTE: MQA accredited training providers that have already applied during the first window of applications, do not need to apply again.

  • Terms and conditions will apply in accordance with the MQA Funding Policy.
  • Due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, application forms will only be available on the MQA website.
  • Incomplete application forms will not be considered.

Preferential consideration will be given to Historically Disadvantaged Individuals with South African citizenship who are subject matter experts in learning material pack development.
