MQA 2020 Bursary: List of Provisionally Approved Unemployed Bursars

The below list contains the names of bursary applicants who have been provisionally approved for a MQA bursary for the 2020 academic year.

WHAT IS PROVISONAL APPROVAL?

Provisional approval is part of the MQA's bursary selection and approval process.

The provisional approval is based solely on the information and documents which you have provided to the MQA for the assessment of your 2020 bursary application, in line with the MQA’s selection criteria.

The MQA reserves the right to cancel any provisional approval issued in error.

The provisional approval is also only for the qualification and the institution for which you have applied for.

Please note: a bursary applicant is only considered to be a MQA bursar when the bursary selection and approval process has been completed, and a Bursary Agreement has been signed between the applicant and the MQA, for that particular academic year.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO IN JANUARY 2020?

  • If you are currently in Grade 12, then you must provide a certified copy of your 2019 Grade 12 results by Friday, 10 January 2020 to the MQA at bursaries@mqa.org.za
  • If you are currently studying at a TVET college, university, or university of technology, then you must submit your full academic record, which must also include your October/November 2019 results by Friday, 10 January 2020 to the MQA at bursaries@mqa.org.za
